How long have you been playing WoW?
Since vanilla.
How'd you start playing WoW?
I started on an RP-PVP server (Emerald Dream). My first toon was a human rogue that didn't get very far. Then I rolled Dylia and suffered through the pain of leveling a druid in vanilla. On a PVP realm. I got to 60, rolled some alts, played to 70 through BC and quit for a while since 1) I didn't really understand how to get into the 'end game' and 2) I hated being on a PvP server. I didn't raid or do end game dungeons until Wrath.
Favorite race/class/spec?
Race: Gnome! Class/spec: changes constantly. I love playing all of them.
Why Darkwind?
When Blizz offered free realm transfers off of my high pop. PVP server, I jumped at the chance to move to a PVE realm. Once I had moved all my toons to WA, I found Darkwind on the realm forum and the description seemed to fit my playstyle, so here I am!
If Blizzard were to shut down all the servers tomorrow, what game are you playing?
SWTOR and console games. I need to finish Skyrim and Uncharted 3. I need to start Assassin's Creed: Revelations (which is still in its plastic wrapping). I need to level my BF3 and MW3 multiplayer doods. I AM SWAMPED. #firstworldproblems
What's one awesome memory you have from WoW?
When Iggy first tried WoW, creating a toon on my account. I loved her excitement when some boar dropped a new pair of vendor-grey gloves she could put on her toon. We leveled together with recruit-a-friend on... Kilrogg? I think. This was before I moved my primary toons to WA.
What's your favorite thing to do in-game?
Level. I'm addicted to getting that new spell or talent point. Getting new gear at max level is great, but then there's the stress of gemming and enchanting and reforging. Nothing compares to that satisfying yellow glow and ding noise. Give me more cheese and I'll keep pushing that lever.
What's one random fun event you'd like to see Darkwind do?
A Darkwind awards ceremony, honoring guildies for ridiculous things. You would have to call the awards the Windies or something like that, because calling them Darkies would not be okay.

I totally agree with you about leveling, Dylia! I roll alts because I miss that feeling of accomplishment. :D
