It’s come to our attention that recently there have been a few conflicts regarding raiding. We’d like to take a moment to state the guild expectations regarding raiding. We would like to emphasize that all of our raid protocols apply to LFR raids as well.
1) Be on time – you are to be ready for the first pull at the scheduled raid time. Group formation begins at 15 minutes before raid start time. All members should AT LEAST be on location at start time. If you are doing anything else besides waiting for the first pull at start time, expect to be left. If you are not in the group at start time, you are likely not going to be added, unless you are in communications with a raid leader.
2) Come prepared – This includes being geared, gemmed, and enchanted appropriately. Know the requirements for actually getting into the raid (according to the ilvl filters) and make sure you meet them. This is not anyone else’s responsibility but your own. While we do provide most food buffs and elixirs, you should be ready to use your own if it is necessary (We realize LFR is quite easy and doesn’t require it).
3) Be in Mumble – Voice comms are a requirement for raiding, even LFR. You have to be able to hear target callouts or on-the-fly strategy changes. If you don’t have a mic, sign in and listen while replying in /raid.
4) Know the fights – Take the time to at least briefly read about the encounters that we will be facing that evening. Watching videos on the fights is also recommended as they can be easily found in multiple locations online. You don’t have to be an expert on every mechanic, just know kind of how things are going to go to ease the learning curve. On a side note, if you aren’t entirely sure of how something works, please ask. That’s what raid leaders are there for.
